Thai government's vocational training system
The Thai government's vocational training system has several ministries that are responsible for its implementation. Each ministry has different objectives. For example,
the Ministry of Labor aims to develop skilled workers with the potential to do work that meets the needs of the labor market and is a non-degree training type.
The Ministry of Education also offers short-term and long-term training courses, which currently include both degree and non-degree options.
The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security also organizes training for disabled groups. disadvantaged groups, etc.

Private vocational training system
For private training institutions, most are training in occupations that have high demand for positions in the labor market. If it is a training institution that can provide certificates that can be used as academic qualifications, it must be supervised by the Ministry of Education.
As for training institutions that provide non-degree certificates, most are professional training in specific areas, such as Thai massage.
Training must be under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Health.
Cook (Food handlers) must undergo training under the supervision of the Department of Health.
The profession of caring for the elderly must be under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Health.
Other occupations that are not specifically regulated
Private training institutions can also provide general training, such as language institutes, etc.

- Training units under the Department of Skill Development include Skill Development Institutes and Skill Development Offices located throughout the country.
- Seven specialized training units include AHRDA, MARA, DiSDA, AMA, Wellness, International Skill Development Institute and International Welder Training Center.
- Training according to the mission of the Department of Skill Development has two parts: part one Training by the Department of Skill Development includes training to prepare for employment. Skill upgrading training and additional vocational training and the second part is training by the business establishment.
- Training conditions Overall trainees must be over 15 years old and have an education not lower than Secondary 3 or equivalent, depending on the specific qualifications specified by the curriculum.
- The training that the Department of Skill Development conducts is divided into 12 technology groups as a central curriculum. and the curriculum that the training unit has customized, which is currently in the process of dividing the curriculum into 23 career fields.
